I owe you guys an apology. I haven’t been around too much lately, and even when I have, my posts have been a wee bit lame and unimpressive. I feel terrible, but I am, however, a big advocate of making excuses for oneself. In light of that fact, I would simply like to plead… thesis.
Yes, that’s right. I am deep in the midst of writing my Master’s thesis, and it’s a little bit miserable. I write all day. I crunch numbers. I’m involved in a terribly awkward love triangle with my laptop and the campus computer lab, and I don’t see nearly enough of anybody not swirling in the ominous depths of the Bermuda Triangle that is thesis season.

I’m not looking for sympathy here – just trying to keep you lovely people informed so that you’ll bear with me and stick around for a couple more weeks while I get my ducks in a row – all 9,458 pages of ducks… Okay, and that’s not entirely true. I would love your sympathy – I’ll take all I can get. In fact, you’re cordially invited to join me in my epic pity-party. RSVP in the comments below, and BYOB.
I’ll be bringing back the awesome full-force come April 16 – promise!!!
Oh, and puh puh puh please fill out my 1.5 minute survey to let me know what you like [or hate] to read and how I could make leShrimp better for you! I’ve got less than half the amount of responses I had last year, even though I have twice as many subscribers now! Thanks, amazing people!!!
Thanks for understanding, guys! It sounds like some of you could also use a “good luck!!!”

Ugh. I’ve been mired in that for years now. Good luck with finishing in April! Also, I don’t think you’ve been a bad blogger — I enjoy everything you post 🙂
Keep on plugging.

In the same boat friend! Finishing up 2 undergrad thesis projects – my hair will probably start falling out in large clumps soon.
Best of luck!
I totally understand. My master’s thesis is approaching so crazy fast and it’s making me super nauseous and sweaty palmed just thinking about it. So. You have my pity.
Good luck to you – though, I’m sure whatever you are doing is amazing!
