Hello, hello, and happy fall!
I recently took up watercolor painting as a creative outlet now that I’m not busy planning our wedding, and I just had to paint little miss Macyn. an adorable little fashionista I found through her Instagram Macy Makes My Day. By way of an introduction, her IG bio really says it all:
Macyn Hope Five years old. Blessing the world. Rocking my extra chromosome. Keeping it sassy. Loving life.
Since October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, I figured there’s no better time to introduce you guys to this little angel! You can read more about Miss Macyn and her sister Truly on their mom Heather’s blog Oh, Macyn. Macyn’s family adopted her when she was tiny, and they’re big advocates for children with Down syndrome in need of adoption. The biggest message that comes across when following along with Macyn is that different is beautiful, happy, and often wears a topknot! 😀
Soooooooo very beautiful! Being is to be different! 😀
She is adorable and your painting is wonderful as well!
Oh my goodness!!! SO cute! I’ll have to follow her!! I have a special place in my heart for children with special needs (I worked with these angels for 4 years as a nurse) and always rejoice when I see those who support them and show how special they are in this world!!
Your drawing is amazing!
Thanks for sharing! Following her now. And I just have to say I’d totally wear that adorable outfit she has on in this picture.
