That’s right, ladies and gents (are there any gents, actually?) – leShrimp turns one this week! I could never have hoped for a better first year, and it’s all because of how wonderful and supportive you guys, my readers, have been! This is going to be a Shrimp celebratory week, so the posts are all going to be along that vein. Be on the lookout for a great reader-appreciation giveaway on Wednesday – the first from yours-truly!
On an unrelated but equally badass note, I ran the Lexington Half-Marathon yesterday!!! That’s right – I can officially cross off item #10 on the To Do List! I finished in two hours, 18 minutes, which was much better than I had hoped for. I managed to run the whole thing despise a fiercely angry left kneecap, so I would’ve been happy just to finish at all! It was forty-something and pouring buckets the whole time, but it was a beautiful course, so I can’t complain too much!!! Sorry for the terrible picture quality, but it was taken on a phone in the car on a very gloomy day. I was the giddiest drowned-rat ever!!!
