No, I’m not leaving you guys (at least not until I hit Belize, of course…).  I’m just giving you The Get Perspective Project’s very first word! We had a whopping 40 people comment to become contributors for the first go-round – far better than I would have expected for the very first installment of the project! 

Because of the fantastic response and my own inability to make a decision, I have decided to open it up to anybody who’d like to participate, but I’ll only be selecting six photos from the Flickr pool to feature here each time. If you’d like to participate, let me know that you’ll be submitting by leaving a comment here.


Here’s how this project works: 
  • Take a picture inspired by the word ‘gone.’ 
  • Join The Get Perspective Project Flickr pool. 
  • Submit your one photo to the Flickr pool by Sunday, July 11.
  • Of all submitted photos, six will be selected and featured in a post here at Shrimp Salad Circus. 
  • All photos selected for feature on the blog will also be linked to the contributor’s blog or shop, so this is a great publicity possibility for you contributors!  
  • If you haven’t grabbed a banner or button for your own blog yet, you can get the code here!
