First Vintage Clothing Photo Shoot – Opinions???

I’ve been accumulating vintage clothing that I just loved, but I haven’t been listing any of it because I just haven’t been sure how to make it look appealing in an Etsy listing. I don’t feel like paying for a dress form, and I don’t like the way some pieces look on a hanger. Well, I finally broke down and took some pictures on Memorial Day. Technically, my boyfriend took the pictures, but I’m fairly happy with the result. It was a little bit awkward, but we made it through maybe six outfits.

My main issue now is choosing which photos to list. I’m still going to put up some of the pictures with the clothing on hangers just so that customers can see the item as a whole. I’m not sure exactly how to handle pricing for clothing either, but I think I’ll just kind of ‘shop around’ Etsy vintage to get an idea before listing. I need to get in gear and list some things since I haven’t in awhile. Anyhow, I’d love all your feedback on my first set of vintage clothing photos on a real person.

  3. Wow, are you a model ? You’re gorgeous ! I think all of the clothing photos are nice and really like the purple dress, also think the yellow top is cute, casual and very chic. The Hippie dress is adorable too. I think they would sell, easily.

  4. I really like the 2nd photo of the purple dress, and the 2nd photo of the Mod geo. I would def look twice after seeing those.
