I graduated from The University of Alabama, and The Mister and I have family and a lot of friends still there. Yesterday, a tornado over a mile wide ripped Tuscaloosa to pieces. It killed 36 and injured over 600 in Tuscaloosa alone, finally claiming the lives of over 200 people across the entire storm.
We were incredibly fortunate, as we have heard from everybody we love, and they are alright, if a bit shaken. However, so many people were not fortunate. Please put the royal wedding on the back burner for a few minutes, and send your thoughts and prayers out to everybody affected by these tornadoes – they need them.
