You might’ve noticed the radio blog silence around these parts the last couple weeks.
If you’re following me on Instagram or Snapchat (shrimpsaladblog), then you already heard the news.
But in case you haven’t heard yet…
Last month, Andrei and I bought our first house! Eeek — it still feels crazy to even write that!
We’re absolutely in love with it. We have a really big, beautiful backyard (that I’ve been weeding like a madwoman) with frequent guest appearances from bunnies, squirrels, deer, chipmunks, and all kinds of birds and fireflies. SWOON.
And then this happened in the middle of everything…
Oh, and did I mention that we left for a trip to Greece, Romania, and Italy FOUR DAYS after moving into the new house?! Naturally, we came home to absolute chaos and have been buried in boxes and early home improvement projects since returning home a week ago…
Anywho, things will get back to normal around these parts pretty quickly, starting later this week with a fun tutorial, but for now, I’m taking some much-needed “us time” for Andrei and I to get settled in and enjoy our beautiful new home together!
